Divisions Learning Session: Local diversity. Shared vision.

Divisions Learning Session 2019 Event Summary (PDF).

This summary document was informed by attendee feedback received through the event evaluation.

The Divisions Learning Session on March 4-5, 2019 focused on further developing skills and confidence in ongoing work with partners. Key themes were promoting and improving leaders’ wellness and fostering a collective voice for divisions. This year marks the 10-year anniversary of the Divisions of Family Practice, and the event also celebrated the work – past, present, and future – of all the divisions.

Thank you to all the attendees for your work in making this event a success along with your feedback – we look forward to continuing to find new and innovative ways to ensure that the valuable input you provide is heard, shared and used to inform the work ahead.

Funding

The provincial Divisions office covered the cost of the venue, audio visual equipment, and food and beverages for this event.

The Provincial Collaboration funding attached to your division’s annual infrastructure funding covers the cost for two physicians and one Executive Director or Coordinator to attend two provincial events per year. If your division’s budget allows, there is space to accommodate one additional attendee per division.

*All expenses/sessional payments for these two days should be billed directly to your division for reimbursement.
