Comox Valley Division of Family Practice

ValleyCare Medical

ValleyCare Medical’s group of 9 collegial physicians share a similar work ethic and enjoy a work life / personal life balance. There is an opportunity to build a patient panel with flexible hours. No hospital required, and special interests welcome. There is a local full service hospital with excellent specialist coverage. The practice has an LPN and a full complement of office support staff. In addition to the busy family practice we also run one of the two walk-in clinics in the area.

Each doctor is able to schedule their appointments as they choose, and do in-person as well as phone visits.  Our medical records and billing staff are able to help with some of the administrative tasks in order that doctors have more time to provide direct patient care. We use Profile, from Intrahealth, as our EMR and continue to increase utilization of features to enhance efficiency and manage patient panels.

Shift/Hours of Work: Flexible hours, can include some phone/virtual work from home.

Remuneration: Fee for Service or LFP
