Maureen brings 20+ years of experience in change leadership, quality improvement, people and organizational development to the Division. Over the past decade (okay… maybe a bit longer!), she has focused on improving health and social systems across both acute and primary care settings, at the provincial and local levels. She has led and supported large-scale health transformation initiatives in acute and primary care and recently returned from two years in Dublin, Ireland, where she worked with Ernst & Young in organizational development, leadership, and learning—with a bit of travel woven in along the way. Maureen is a Professional Certified Coach, Team and Organizational Systems Coach, and an Associate Faculty Member in the MA, Leadership (Health Specialization) at Royal Roads University. She has called the Comox Valley home for many years, where she and her partner raised two now wonderful young adults. Along the way, she spent plenty of time on the ski hill, in dance studios, on bike trails, and in schools across the Valley.
