Urgent & Primary Care Services

Comox Valley Urgent & Primary Care Centre (UPCC): Provides non-emergency medical care needed within 12 to 24 hours. 

  • Appointments: Call 1-833-688-8722 to secure an urgent care appointment, as required. Walk-in appointments are not available.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday: 1-9 p.m., Weekends & Stats: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Location: 615 10th Street, Courtenay

Walmart Walk-in Clinic: Provides non-urgent medical care for people on a walk-in basis.

  • Appointments: Walk-in appointments only. First come, first serve basis.
  • Hours: Open at 8 a.m. Monday to Saturday. 
  • Location: Inside Walmart @ 3199 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay

First Nations Virtual Doctor of the DayThis is a unique service open to all First Nations people and their families living in BC.

  • Details:The program includes doctors of Indigenous ancestry. All doctors and allied health care professionals are trained to follow the principles and practices of cultural safety and humility.​
  • Appointments: Phone 1-855-344-3800 (toll-free)
  • Hours: 7 days a week, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Adult Mental Health & Substance Use (MHSU) Services

Comox Valley Adult Mental Health & Substance Use: Non-crisis related adult mental health and substance use services.

  • Appointments: Walk-ins welcome or call to book an appointment at 250-331-8524
  • Hours: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 9 a.m. - 2:15 p.m., Weds 9 - 11:15 a.m.

Mental Health & Substance Use Service Link: Call for information on mental health, substance use, harm reduction, addiction medicine and treatment services.


The Village Clinic: Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT) and anti-craving medications for alcohol.

Women's Health Services

Rosewall Women’s Clinic: Women’s health care for anyone who needs it, including individuals who are trans or non-binary.
