Ingrid Timmermans supports Primary Medical Home initiatives. Ingrid has a keen interest in health promotion and public health and holds a diverse background in project coordination within the health sector.

Ingrid is originally from the Netherlands, where she obtained her master’s degree in public health from the University of Wageningen. She moved to Canada in Summer 2015, were she worked as project coordinator for Nurse Next Door, home care services before she took a role as project coordinator at the Fraser North west Division of Family Practice and later at the Comox Valley Division of Family Practice.

After work you might find Ingrid scanning the waters for whales. She also likes to run, hike and ski.
