Town Circle Medical Clinic is nestled within the Comox Valley Primary Care Network (PCN) and is a cohesive group of four dedicated family physicians. We are looking for a physician to replace one member of the group. This opportunity will appeal to someone who wishes to care for their patients in a positive, team-based environment.
We work together with a PCN Mental Health Consultant and Social Worker who each attend the clinic one day per week. We also have access to other PCN and Community Health Services allied health resources within the community. We work with the Health Data Coalition, which means that our charts are well maintained and panel data is easily accessible. We use Intrahealth's Profile EMR and have modern computers for ease of use and security. Office bookings are made using an advance access system. Each physician offers evening appointments once per week. All four physicians provide care to our patients in hospital and long term care.
Part-Time position: 24 hours of clinic hours per week which permits time for other clinical or personal pursuits.
Remuneration: All four physicians use the Longitudinal Family Practice Payment Model, though an incoming physician may choose their method of remuneration.
Overhead: Equally split between four physicians. Currently $5500 per month per physician.
Clinic Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 8:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Benefits: May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Fee Premium – 6.93%; Annual Flat Fee - $10,516.77 Rural CME - $2,200/annum years 3&4 in the community to maximum $4,400/annum after 4 years.
