Fraser Northwest Division of Family Practice Launches Patient Surveys to Enhance Healthcare Accessibility and Satisfaction

The Fraser Northwest Division of Family Practice is excited to announce the launch of a series of patient surveys to gain valuable insights into the experiences and challenges faced by residents in the Fraser Northwest region, including New Westminster and the Tri-Cities. These surveys cover a wide range of healthcare concerns and aim to improve healthcare accessibility and satisfaction for all patients.

The surveys include:

Dizziness or Vertigo Survey: Seeking to understand the experiences of individuals dealing with dizziness or vertigo-related symptoms and conditions as well as how patients access and navigate the healthcare system in the region.

Adult Mental Health Survey: Patients are encouraged to share their experiences with accessing mental health services and supports. Their feedback will identify ways to enhance healthcare accessibility and satisfaction in this area.

Maternity Postpartum Survey: New parents living in New Westminster and the Tri-Cities are invited to provide insights into their postpartum care experiences. This survey aims to improve the accessibility of services including support after labour and delivery.

Blood Clot in Veins Survey: Patients who have experienced blood clots in their veins, also known as Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), are encouraged to provide feedback on their experience. This survey focuses on healthcare experiences and challenges related to DVT care in the Emergency Department.

Dermatology Survey: This is for patients with dermatology needs who have struggled to gain timely access to care and continuity of care.

Older Adult Survey: Older adults with complex health issues face many challenges and this aims to enhance patient and family-centered care by addressing issues related to communication, access to services, and more.

ER Follow-Up Survey: Patients who have visited the emergency department in New Westminster or the Tri-Cities are encouraged to share their  experiences. Your feedback will help improve transitions in care between hospitals and primary care providers.

Alcohol Use Survey: People who drink alcohol or are impacted by the overconsumption of alcohol are invited to fill share their experience. This will help healthcare providers better understand how to improve access to care for individuals seeking help for alcohol use.
