HusainAttachment Coordinator

Husain is an Attachment Coordinator with the Fraser Northwest Division of Family Practice. He holds a Master of Public Health from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University and a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from Queen’s University.

Husain’s prior work experience spans across the healthcare and consulting sectors, including roles with the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), evaluation consulting, strategy and business development, and public health research. These experiences have equipped him with a strong foundation in building healthcare partnerships, designing evidence-based strategies, and supporting system-level improvements.

In his current role, Husain works closely with providers, health authority partners, and community stakeholders to strengthen patient attachment across the region. On a weekly basis, he supports clinics and providers with patient matching, develops collaborative strategies to improve access to care, and helps coordinate healthcare partnerships to ensure patients are connected with the most responsible provider for their needs.

Outside of work, Husain is passionate about cooking, playing tennis, and exploring Vancouver’s diverse food scene. He also watches more TV than he’d like to admit — so if you’re ever looking for a recommendation, he’s the person to ask.
