Healthcare Project Coordinator

Carissa Joseph is a Healthcare Project Coordinator at the Division. In this position, she provides coordination supports with Shared Care Projects while engaging with specialists and family physicians involved in these quality improvement projects. Carissa also provides administrative support to Eagle Ridge Hospital's Medical Staff Association and Royal Columbian Hospital's Columbian Emergency Physician Association.

Carissa possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, along with being a Certified Personal Trainer. Prior to joining the division, Carissa obtained significant experience providing client-centered care, where she worked as a Retail Sales Lead and an Outreach Mental Health Worker. 

Outside of work, Carissa enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, and strength training.
