Dr. Iman Baharmand grew up in Port Coquitlam and is a proud alumnus of Riverside Secondary, Simon Fraser University, and UBC medical school. He is currently the Lead Resident in the Vancouver-Fraser Program based out of Royal Columbian Hospital. As an advisor to the board, he is keen to bring a resident perspective to the discussion and hopes to support the recruitment efforts of the division among residents who are transitioning to practice. He plans on spending his career in the Fraser Northwest alongside his wife Ruvini, who is also a family medicine resident, and their son Eli.
