Burnaby Primary Care Networks

Edmonds Urgent Care Centre

The UPCC provides timely access to care for urgent, but non-emergency health concerns when patients are unable to access their primary care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner) within 12-48 hours.

FP Neighbourhood Networks

Neighbourhood networks consists of family physicians (FPs) located in a specific geographic area, coming together to work collegially and create FP to FP connections that enable the shared delivery of full-scope primary care to patients.

Shared Care

The Burnaby Division of Family Practice works with Shared Care (a Joint Collaborative Committee of Doctors of BC and the BC government) to support the collaboration between Family and Specialist Physicians and partners to improve the coordination of health care for patient populations.
