Healthcare Project Coordinator

Meet Simran, our dedicated team member bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to our division. With a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science from Simon Fraser University, Simran's journey in healthcare began with Fraser Health, where she contributed to immunization clinics and infection prevention and control efforts. Her work included conducting audits and generating vital metric reports for hospitals and long-term care centers within the Fraser Health region.

In her role within the Primary Care Network, Simran focuses on supporting Community Health Nurses (CHN’s) and Home Health Services. Weekly, she engages in collaborative efforts with Fraser Health and the Home Health Department to organize Meet and Greet/Lunch & Learn sessions at clinics across New Westminster and the Tri-Cities region. These sessions foster engagement among physicians and Community Health Nurses, facilitating discussions on how to best support Home Health patients and navigate available services. Additionally, Simran provides valuable assistance to the Specialized Seniors Clinic initiative, further enriching our community healthcare landscape.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Simran finds solace in the beauty of nature, particularly at the beach. Her deep-rooted connection to Mombasa, Kenya, holds a special place in her heart, as it's where her entire family is from. With cherished memories and a passion for making a difference in healthcare, Simran embodies our commitment to serving our members with compassion and dedication.
