Dr. Wilkhu has been practicing family medicine since 2010 and addictions medicine since 2018. In addition to serving on the Surrey-North Delta Board of Directors, he was also a founding member of OAT Force and the Division’s PMH committee (of which he was previously the Chair).  

After attending medical school at St. George’s in Grenada, Dr. Wilkhu did his residency in Pittsburgh before returning to practice in Surrey, where he grew up.  

Outside of his many community commitments, Dr. Wilkhu focuses on raising his two children, and has recently begun learning how to sail.
