Susan Kreis, Senior Manager, Admin, HR & Finance

Susan brings a uniquely diverse professional background shaped by hands-on experience, adaptability, and a strong sense of community. Before joining the Division, she built an impressive range of experience in roles including florist, daycare operator,  store manager, hotel holiday décor specialist, and Executive Assistant at a Neighbourhood House. Each position contributed to her practical expertise and people-first approach, which continues to guide her work.

Susan has been part of the Division’s journey from the very beginning—starting operations at her own dining room table—and has played an integral role in its growth and evolution. Today, she oversees a broad portfolio that includes office management, human resources, finance and payroll, and board governance and support. Known for her ability to keep everything running smoothly, she manages the day-to-day details with care and precision—from financial oversight and event coordination to ensuring both staff and board members have the resources they need to succeed. She thrives on variety and takes pride in creating an organized, supportive environment where the Division can flourish.

Known for her signature love of purple, Susan brings both personality and professionalism to everything she does. Outside of work, she enjoys time on her patio, going for walks (and the occasional jog), and—most importantly—making memories with her granddaughter and grandson.
