Monica | PCN Attachment + MOA Network Coordinator
Monica is both the PCN Attachment Coordinator and the MOA Network Coordinator for the Surrey-North Delta Division of Family Practice. In her Attachment Coordinator role, she facilitates connections between patients and primary care providers—whether Family Physicians or Nurse Practitioners—and supports collaboration between primary care and a wide range of community health resources.
As MOA Network Coordinator, Monica also supports Medical Office Assistants (MOAs) across the community, helping to strengthen communication, provide professional development opportunities, and foster connection among MOAs working in diverse primary care settings.
In both roles, Monica works closely with the PCN team, patient medical homes (primary care clinics), Indigenous wellness centers, community health centers, nurse practitioner clinics, Urgent and Primary Care Centers, and many other community health partners. She collaborates with Family Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and PCN partners to design and implement integrated programs that enhance access and coordination of care.
With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, Monica finds great fulfillment in supporting patients, care teams, and clinic staff, and she is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
Outside of work, Monica is a proud mom to two teenage boys and loves spending quality time with them. She leads an active, healthy lifestyle—often starting her day weightlifting at the gym—and enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
