Karen Grommada
Karen Grommada is a Chartered Professional Accountant with almost 30 years of experience in BC Local Government and First Nations Finance. She has held progressively more senior roles at the Resort Municipality of Whistler, Village of Pemberton, Mount Currie Indian Band, District of Sechelt and City of Port Coquitlam, where she has worked for over 16 years. While serving the various communities she has worked in, she has always recognized the importance of listening, receiving feedback, and being responsive to needs, while at the same time being fiscally responsible. As a Port Coquitlam resident and employee, she is invested in the quality of life of the community and the region and her desire to make communities a better place to work, live and play. Karen is an avid member of the PoCo Run Club and enjoys walking the local trails with her husband and dog.
