On Sep 22, 2022, the Fraser Northwest Division of Family Practice celebrated healthcare workers in the Tri-Cities and New West communities through our annual awards celebration. The awards were: 

• Family Doctor of the Year Award
• Quality Improvement Champion of the Year Award
• Hospitalist of the Year Award
• Specialist Colleague of the Year Award
• Patient Care Team Member of the Year Award

 

To showcase the amazing work that is done by the award winners we created a series of videos that give the nominators an opportunity to share their experiences in working with their colleagues. We also hear from the award winners and the work that they’ve done in the past year. We’d like to congratulate the winners of 2022:

 

• Dr. Angela Hutchinson – Family Doctor of the Year Award
• Dr. Amber Jarvie – QI Champion of the Year Award
• Dr. Sarah Houlihan – Specialist Colleague of the Year Award
• Chelsea Bruce, NP – Patient Care Team Member of the Year Award
• Dr. Joelle Bradley – Hospitalist of the Year Award

To showcase the Fraser Northwest community we asked family physicians at the event “Why they choose to work in the FNW community” through a video.

Fraser Northwest Division of Family Practice is one of 35 divisions in British Columbia that make up the BC Divisions of Family Practice, an initiative of the Family Practice Services Committee, a partnership between the Province of B.C. and Doctors of B.C. Fraser Northwest Division of Family Practice currently has over 450 members that provide primary care services in Anmore, Belcarra, Coquitlam, New Westminster, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody.
