Dr. William Mak graduated from UBC medical school in 2019 and is currently in the Vancouver Fraser Family Medicine residency program. With an interest in addictions and mental health, he will be undergoing further training in the Addiction Medicine Enhanced Skills program for 2021/2022. He enjoys participating in endeavours that better the lives of patients and healthcare providers. This has involved research projects leading to publications and presentations across the globe, while also actively participating in local committees and community events. Dr. Mak serves as the resident advisor, bringing new ideas from future family physicians, and ensuring family medicine adapts to the changing needs of the community. He looks forward to practicing in the region and having further involvement with the Fraser Northwest Division of Family Practice.
