Simran is a Physician Engagement Specialist for the Surrey–North Delta Division of Family Practice. In this role, she builds and sustains relationships between the Division, its physician members, clinic teams, Fraser Health Authority, and community partners. Simran leads efforts to enhance physician engagement in Division initiatives, such as neighbourhood Patient Medical Homes and practice transformation projects, and raises awareness of the supports and programs available to physicians in the region.

Simran has experience working in the Long-Term Care Initiative and conducting audits with FHA’s Infection Prevention and Control department. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Simon Fraser University and is passionate about health promotion, the Canadian healthcare system, and improving access to equitable care for underserved populations.

Outside of work, Simran enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, exploring new cultures, and trying diverse cuisines.
