Long-Term Care Initiative

The Long-term Care Initiative (LTCI) aims to provide educational opportunities for physicians with patients in residential care, enabling them to update their skills and knowledge in areas that are of particular relevance to that patient population, including:

  • Treating infections
  • Reducing polypharmacy
  • Pain management
  • Wound care

LTCI occasionally partners with other groups and initiatives in order to improve the flow of information, and the quality of care for patients in long-term care.
