Docs Talk Health | Hypertension: The Silent Killer
Docs Talk Health is a new health education series for patients that aims to provide accurate, up-to-date and community-focused information on health topics that are relevant to people living in Surrey and North Delta. Docs Talk Health sessions are presented with support from the Surrey-North Delta Primary Care Network.
An estimated 46% of adults with hypertension are unaware that they have the condition. Hypertension: The Silent Killer, a FREE webinar hosted by SND Division members Dr. Arina Garg and Dr. Ravneet Jaura, aims to help patients in Surrey-North Delta better understand:
- what hypertension is and why it matters,
- how to know if they are at risk, and
- how to proactively prevent and manage hypertension.
This webinar will take place on Wednesday, November 20 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
