
Divishani Bangaar is the Practice Efficiency and Quality Improvement Specialist at the SND Division of Family Practice, where she empowers family physicians and clinic teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care through sustainable and efficient practice models.
Known for her supportive and strategic approach, Divishani meets practices where they are, listening, co-designing solutions, and guiding teams through change with confidence and compassion. A lifelong learner and educator, she is deeply committed to helping primary care teams improve operational efficiency so they can focus on what matters most: their patients.
Divishani is a seasoned leader in healthcare operations, bringing over a decade of experience in driving transformation across clinical environments. Her expertise spans healthcare operations, digital transformation, clinic management, and systems optimization. From overseeing clinic operations and peer monitoring to teaching Medical Office Assistant and Nursing Unit Clerk programs, Divishani has played a pivotal role in shaping healthcare delivery. She has also led strategic enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives, always with a focus on elevating care quality and enhancing professional satisfaction.
Divishani's multidisciplinary academic background includes an MBA in Management of Technology from SFU, a Master of Laws in Technology and Business Law from UofT and several qualifications in education and medical office administration.
Outside of her professional work, Divishani is an active volunteer and serves as a board member for a non-profit organization in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, travelling, and fostering abused and homeless dogs who are waiting for their forever homes.
