The Annual General Meeting of the Nanaimo Division of Family Practice Society was held at 1800-1900 hours on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Due to potential uncertainty around public gatherings, this entire meeting was hosted via Zoom Video-conferencing.

Nominations for Board of Directors:
There are four vacancies for General Member Directors at Large.

There are three sitting General Member Directors whose current term of office expires at this year’s AGM. Each of these 3 Directors is standing for re-election for a further two-year term as a General Member Director at Large:

Dr. John Trepess
Dr. Diane Wallis  
Dr. Taylor Swanson

Dr. Duncan MacGillivray has been nominated to stand for election as a General Member Director at Large for a two-year term.

Election to Board of Directors
No further nominations for General Member directors were received. Therefore Dr. Swanson, Dr. Wallis, Dr. Trepess, and Dr. McGillivray are considered elected by acclamation, and no vote has been required.

Associate Director
One nomination has been received from Dr. Luke Zawadiuk. As no further nominations were received, Dr. Luke Zawadiuk will be considered elected by acclamation.
