Emergency Planning & Preparedness
The Nanaimo Division of Family Practice is leading a project funded by SharedCare to help our medical community be prepared for and respond to disaster and emergency situations.
The project is focused on personal preparedness and developing a community wide response plan to ensure primary care providers and community specialists have a planned approach that leads to a coordinated cohesive medical response in disaster situations.
We need your input in developing this plan; to be involved in any way contact Nanaimo Division’s Disaster Response Lead Kirsten Schuld: KSchuld@NanaimoDivision.ca
