Are you passionate about strengthening primary care and supporting clinics to thrive?
The Kootenay Boundary Division of Family Practice is seeking a Clinic Supports Facilitator to help advance our Clinic Capacity initiative and support the evolution of primary care services across the region.
This role combines relationship-building, quality improvement, coaching, and change management to help clinics optimize operations, strengthen teams, and improve patient access to care.
Working closely with family physicians, nurse practitioners, clinic teams, Interior Health partners, and Division staff, the successful candidate will support local clinics through planning, facilitation, service improvement, and implementation of clinic capacity initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Support clinic improvement and optimization initiatives
- Coach and facilitate quality improvement activities
- Lead change management and team development efforts
- Build strong relationships with clinicians and health system partners
- Analyze clinic workflows and identify opportunities for capacity building
- Collaborate with internal Division teams and regional partners
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience in healthcare, quality improvement, clinic operations, facilitation, or program leadership
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Knowledge of primary care environments and interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and change management abilities
- A commitment to patient-centred and community-based care
Candidates with experience working alongside family physicians or within primary care settings are strongly encouraged to apply.
Work Terms
- 25–30 hours per week
- Initial six-month contract with anticipated renewal
- Flexible work arrangements with regional travel required
- Contractor rate: $55–$65/hour, commensurate with experience
- Applicants must reside within the Kootenay Boundary region
