NAKUSP – SADDLE MOUNTAIN MEDICAL CLINIC

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Saddle Mountain Medical Clinic is seeking one or two permanent Family Physician(s) for a general rural practice. The successful candidate(s) will work with a private clinic group. There is a strong collegial support between physicians that allows for work/life balance. Physicians share after-hour coverage through an on-call schedule, working approximately 1:5 schedule. The call demands are very reasonable and it is rare to be called in after 10 p.m.

The office is modern with an excellent, friendly staff, including a Social Worker, a Diabetic Nurse and a Physiotherapist. Our EMR is Wolf Telus. Our community 24/7 ED just got a $2M upgrade, and public health services are available locally. There's also a well-run Long-Term Care facility in town. We have a fully furnished Locum house and qualify for the Locums for Rural BC program. A turn key practice is ready for you. COMPENSATION

Compensation Type: Fee-for-Service 

Estimated Remuneration: $300,000 (Gross)

Billing Split: Competitive 

 

BENEFITS AND INCENTIVES

Vacation Leave: Negociable

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:

  • Retention Premium: 21.98%
  • Retention Flat Fee: $22,099
  • Relocation Funding Available: $9,000-$15,000
  • Recruitment Incentive: $20,000 based on FT

Candidates with a BC or Canada student loan may be eligible for loan forgiveness programs.
