COVID-19 Immunization Roll-Out:
Kootenay Boundary family doctors and nurse practitioners ask residents to be patient as the government's vaccine program rolls-out. Our province is currently in phase 1 and 2, focusing on high risk populations. Everything is being planned meticulously to ensure everyone in BC can get immunized as quickly and safely as possible.
Instead of calling your doctor’s office, you’ll find the most up-to-date information for when and how you can get vaccinated on the BC Gov website https://www.gov.bc.ca/covidvaccine or by calling 1-888-268-4319.
As at March 8th, seniors 90+ and Indigenous Peoples 65+ are now eligible to book a vaccine appointment through the Interior Health phone line.
