Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Chilliwack General Hospital
Hybrid Work-Model: 4 days in the office/1 day at home
Duration: Continuing Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible scheduling during business hours (7am - 5pm)

About Us
The Chilliwack Division of Family Practice is a non-profit society representing family physicians and nurse practitioners in Chilliwack, Agassiz, Seabird Island and Hope. We are dedicated to improving primary care services and fostering strong relationships between healthcare providers and the community. We are currently seeking a Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of healthcare initiatives and quality improvement projects.

Position Summary
As Project Manager with the Chilliwack Division, you will lead meaningful healthcare transformation in our region by combining innovative thinking with practical execution. Working closely with doctors and nurse practitioners, you'll have the autonomy to identify opportunities and develop creative solutions. You'll spearhead project planning and implementation while building lasting partnerships across our healthcare network. This role is ideal for someone passionate about transforming healthcare delivery and who can turn innovative ideas into meaningful action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead healthcare initiatives from planning through implementation, ensuring strategic alignment and measurable outcomes
  • Support the Long-Term Care initiative in our region, including quality improvement projects that have a meaningful impact on patient care
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including implementing management tools, developing comprehensive project plans and budgets, and tracking progress through regular status reporting
  • Lead and facilitate working groups and committees to advance primary healthcare programs, engaging physicians, healthcare providers and community partners in collaborative decision-making processes
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with health authorities, Indigenous health services, government agencies, businesses and community organizations at local, regional and provincial levels to drive program success through active engagement and coordination
  • Develop creative methods for sharing project results alongside the communications team, e.g. podcasts, videos, testimonials, with the opportunity for provincial level scale-up
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and professional development for team
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent  
  • 3+ years project management experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Proven success leading complex healthcare initiatives
  • Ability to utilize initiative, vision, independent thinking and creative problem-solving abilities to implement project plans and realize project completion
  • Superior interpersonal skills with proven ability to build strong partnerships and engage effectively with diverse groups
  • Advanced knowledge of project management and quality improvement practices
  • Experience facilitating working groups and leading multi-disciplinary committees
  • Strong written communication skills with demonstrated ability to transform complex content into clear, compelling formats and detailed reports
  • Familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and Humility principals preferred.
