Priority Response Team Physicians

Part time or full time  family physicians

The Oceanside Primary Care Network is seeking family practitioners to work collaboratively together as a group and with other health care providers (e.g. registered nurses, occupational therapists, and clinical pharmacists) as members of a Priority Response Team (PRT).  This team will provide primary care consultative services, to include clinical assessments and care planning, for local patients in their homes 365 days per year.

The Priority Response Team (PRT), in partnership with Oceanside’s community health care teams, supports the provision of expedited primary care to patients in Oceanside’s small and rural communities.

The group of physicians will be expected to collectively provide 2,520 hours of clinical services per fiscal year.  Patient care will be provided for about 7 hours each day generally between 1000 and 1800, however, actual hours may vary from day to day as flexibility of hours may be necessary to ensure a priority response for patient care. The physicians will manage their shared schedule and hours to effectively, efficiently, and timely; provide care for patients, with the aim of preventing patients’ hospital admissions or facilitating patients’ discharges from hospital.

In this group service contract position the family practitioner will share after-hours coverage with the other practitioners of the PRT.

Interested candidates, please send your CV and letter of interest.
