EMR Skill Building: Billing Tips & Tricks

The Doctors Technology Office (DTO) has scheduled the next EMR Skill Building sessions, focused on Billing Tips & Tricks, for May and June. 

During the upcoming sessions on Billing Tips & Tricks, we will aim to cover billing form management, editing claims, automatic linking of service codes with procedure and diagnostic codes, and various reports.

Busy medical clinic in Qualicum Beach is seeking a part-time MOA to join our team! 

You will be joining a well-established family practice that is committed to excellent patient care in a busy and positive environment.

Our candidate will preferably have experience with the MedAccess EMR.  We require someone who has excellent attention to detail, is highly organized, and who enjoys assisting many patients both on the phone and in-clinic.

Front desk duties will also include task management, direction of both electronic and hard copy correspondence, faxing, and autoclaving.

Hourly wage is $23.  One day per week to begin, as well as sick and vacation relief to start.

Opportunity to Join Our Clinic Team! Full-Time MOA & Temporary Receptionist (3-Month Contract)

We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Office Assistant (MOA) and a temporary receptionist (3-month contract) to support our team through an important transition. As a key member of our office, the MOA will assist with patient scheduling, maintaining medical records, handling phone inquiries, completing paperwork, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The role demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing phone inquiries and patient registration
  • Maintaining electronic health records (EMR)
  • Assisting with data entry and filing
  • Supporting daily operations of the office

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and confidentiality
  • MOA Certification and prior experience preferred

Employment Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location: In-person
