With over 80 full-service family physicians in the region, Cowichan has plenty of opportunities for locum placements.  The Cowichan Division of Family Practice maintains an up-to-date list of locum physicians who provide coverage in the Cowichan region.  This locum list, which is kept for internal CVDFP use only, is held by division staff and shared with CVDFP members, upon request.  GPs then connect with locums directly to make individual arrangements.
