Overview
One of only two cities in the world situated between two lakes, Penticton is the largest urban centre in the South Okanagan with a population of 36,885 people.
The city is 63 kms from Kelowna and just 55 minutes from Vancouver by air.
Penticton Regional Hospital provides core medical and surgical services to the region and includes a 24/7 emergency department,155 inpatient beds, pharmacy, medical imaging, laboratory, and numerous outpatient clinics.
Our network of primary care includes more than 60 family physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health providers working in a variety of settings: traditional family practices, a mental health/substance use clinic, Foundry Penticton youth centre, Penticton Indian Band health centre, long term care facilities, hospice, and Penticton Regional Hospital.
