A GP for Me was a Doctors of BC (DOBC) and Ministry of Health (MOH) initiative.
The Palliative Care Working Group started in 2013 from the Practice Support Program End-Of-Life module.
The CYMHSU Collaborative strives to increase access to services for children, youth, and families.
In late 2013, a maternity working group was formed with family physicians from Creston, Cranbrook, Kimberley and Fernie and a Cranbrook OB/Gynecologist and midwives.
In early 2012, a radiology working group was formed with family physicians from Creston, Cranbrook and Kimberley, as well as a Cranbrook radiologist and radiology staff.
The Elk Valley Chronic Pain project was initiated in February 2019 by local physicians who were experiencing the same challenges as a number of other rural communities in British Columbia regarding chronic pain care.
This project was created to help spread the interprofessional collaborative approach to maternity care and increase access to prenatal care and resources.
