Accessed by the Horseshoe Bay-Langdale ferry, a brief 40-minute ride across beautiful Howe Sound (and you only pay one way!), the necessity of a ferry has deterred urban sprawl, but led to the development of unique, close-knit communities filled with creative artists and active individuals from across Canada and around the world who appreciate the uniqueness of West Coast living.

The Sunshine Coast enjoys the services of a renovated and updated hospital located in Sechelt. Medical clinics exist in each of the main communities, with six clinics of various sizes providing community practice and hospital coverage across the Sunshine Coast.
