Register Now for the Health Connect Registry:
Many small or rural communities in BC struggle to recruit and retain primary care providers. Residents of Squamish and Whistler are now able to register as seeking care by joining the provincial Health Connect Registry. Work is underway to bring new practitioners into the community, but if you or a member of your family are currently without a physician/nurse practitioner, please take a moment and register here: Health Connect Registry | HealthLink BC
Sea to Sky Pathways Community Service Directory is now live! Click here to find a complete listing of community resources in the Sea to Sky!
What are Divisions of Family Practice?Divisions of Family Practice are sponsored by the Family Practice Services Committee, a joint committee of the BC Ministry of Health and Doctors of BC. Divisions were designed to improve patient care, increase Family Physicians’ influence on health care delivery and policy, and to support improved professional satisfaction for physicians. The Sea to Sky Division of Family Practice is an independent society providing family practice leadership at community, regional, and provincial levels. Members advocate for and develop programs to fit the health care needs of the Sea to Sky region. |
