The Central Interior Rural region is located within the Cariboo-Chilcotin in central BC, and is in the traditional territories of the Northern Secwēpemc, Tŝilhqot’in and Southern Dakelh Dene Nations. Stretching from 70 Mile in the south to Alexandria in the north, our region has two main centres, 100 Mile House and Williams Lake, and encompasses communities to the east and west of Williams Lake. The towns of 100 Mile House and Williams Lake offer affordable housing, alongside key services such as rec centres, childcare, and education options.

100 Mile House is a small, friendly community of 2,000 residents situated in the South Cariboo region of BC, Canada. The South Cariboo, a large rural area consisting of several small unincorporated communities surrounding 100 Mile House, has an approximate population of 15,000. Serving as the main service area for the region, 100 Mile House is located approximately 460 kilometers (286 miles) northeast of Vancouver and one hour south of Williams Lake, the largest urban centre in the Central Interior Rural region.

The City of Williams Lake is a close-knit community of around 11,000 located in the Cariboo region of BC, Canada. Situated in the central interior of the province, it's approximately 550 kilometers (340 miles) northeast of Vancouver, and is largest urban centre in the Central Interior Rural region. It is considered the 'Hub City of the Cariboo' and serves as the primary service centre for the surrounding rural communities to the east and the Chilcotin out west, with a combined population of around 30,000. The city's economy is influenced by natural resource-based industries, including forestry, mining, and agriculture.
