Dr Chiles has been practicing medicine for three years. She settled in Golden after completing a rural residency program in BC. The mountains and supportive practice drew her to the area and are what have kept her here. Dr Chiles has always been interested in full-service family practice and finds that Golden is the perfect place to maintain her emergency, obstetrical, and office skills.

Dr Chiles recently joined our Division of Family Practice. Before settling into Golden she worked in various areas, noticing that each community had different strengths and challenges and could all benefit from working together. She is excited to connect Golden with the East Kootenay medical community since geography has traditionally been a barrier. Dr Chiles is hopeful that the Divisions can provide some valuable connections and strengthen the voice of rural physicians to improve patient care.
