Dr Cecile Andreas - Vice Chair

Cecile has been a family physician for 24 years, the last nine in Cranbrook. She was raised in the shadow of Table Mountain in South Africa, transplanted to a small rural clinic in the Eastern Cape, then immersed in the cold and mosquitos of Manitoba before settling in the Kootenays.

When not working at the Green Clinic in Cranbrook, Cecile can be found riding her bike or playing in the snow.

Cecile has been involved in various roles with the Division since its creation, and believes that the work of the Division - bringing together physicians, health authorities, and community organizations - is an amazing opportunity to design improvements that serve our communities well.
