• Improve communications between ER and community- based physicians in Cranbrook.
• Address the process for emergency room referrals and the process for admissions of patients from the emergency department to the East Kootenay Regional Hospital

• Develop a Memorandum of Understanding that addresses the handover process between FPs and the ER, the admission process for ER physicians doing admissions for FPs, and develop an on call process for FPs.
