Eagle Creek Medical Clinic l View Royal
Eagle Creek Medical Clinic is seeking a locum to cover a range of dates between January - April. Please click here to see the list of available dates.
Most locums in the clinic have been as follows (flexibility is considered):
- Typically, 9am-3pm with 4 patients per hour (24 booked patients)
- Alternating between telehealth and in-patient (one room/one office)
- Sign in on EMR and bill under Dr. Matt Ward (locum signs his/her name to chart notes). This way anything ordered will have their name on it and come back to the inbox.
- Inbox work is only expected during any "downtime" within the 6 hour block, otherwise it's taken care of. "Urgent" specialist calls/labs during that time will be taken care of by the locum.
- Split is 85:15 + $48 for Business Overhead Premium. Pay is via e-transfer at the end of each "shift". Rejections or delayed MSP payments are taken care of.

Ocean Pier Medical Centre is seeking locum support (full-time, part-time, flexible work options available).
Ocean Pier Medical Centre, located in downtown Sidney is a beautiful, modern, professionally managed clinic - with ocean views from almost every window! The clinic provides full-service family practice, in association with the Saanich Peninsula Hospital (hospital coverage is optional).
With approximately 15 collegial physicians, 6 skilled MOA's/support staff (with over 65 years of combined experience), any new physician will feel supported and ready to work. The clinic operates in partnership with two in-house registered nurses who do delegated tasks and chronic disease management for patients with regular phone communication. There are also dedicated pharmacists who provide medication reviews for patients.
Practice Information:
- Hours of operation: Monday to Friday (9am-5pm).
- 13 bright, well-equipped exam rooms are divided into "pods", to enable collaborative but quiet work.
- Paperless practice, using Oscar EMR for all encounter notes, billing and scheduling.
- 25-30 patients per day.
