November, 2019 - March, 2020

Role 1: Bridging Care for Downtown assertive community treatment team clients

Role 2: Primary care integration and support for VMHC clients

Within VMHC the following temporary role has been identified:

  • Provide psychiatric treatment, manage psychiatric medication, and renew prescriptions

Cook Quadra Medical Clinic | Dr. Peter Vizsolyi

January - June, 2020

The clinic is being rezoned. Over the last three years there has been a long-term locum covering a practice left open by physician retiring for medical reasons and another 1/2 practice left open by a physician leaving Family Medicine. The current locum has had to cut back due to other commitments but had been billing at a full practice rate working only 3.5 days per week, including a small walk-in component. There would also be an opportunity to keep these patients if the rezoning completes and the physician wishes to relocate to a permanent practice.

  • EMR | Oscar
  • Average daily patient volume | varies
  • Optional | on-call obligations, telephone on-call, house calls
  • 8 exam rooms, 2 MD offices, 2 + MOAs

  • FREE parking
  • Dedicated computer for physician use, with wireless, high-speed internet
