Dr. Patel is looking for a locum for maternity leave coverage from April 23, 2024 to August 23, 2024. She has a panel of 800 patients and majority of them are adults. Looking for a locum for any 2 days (Tuesday - Friday) per week.
Work days and hours are flexible but it would be ideal to have a shift of 7.5 hours of direct care + 1.5 hours of indirect care. Open to work with shorter hour shifts as well if desired by physicians. Payment will be made electronically after the end of each shift. The West Coast Family Medical Clinic (group practice) in beautiful Sooke is seeking a permanent family physician (full-time or part-time).
The clinic is a regional trailblazer as a well-functioning multidisciplinary clinic, with social work, dietician, and chronic disease management nurse on site. Funding for several nurses in practice has also just been confirmed. Physicians in the group have organized outreach clinics at the local high school and T’sou-ke Nation, as well as a palliative care program.

Practice Information:
- Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 1:00pm.
- Modern, efficient, well equipped clinic with a dynamic team, comprised of; 8 full-time physicians, 1 registered nurse, 1 social worker, 1 dietitian and 9 MOAs, as well as visiting specialists.

Requirements:
- Average daily patient volume - 25 to 35.
- Optional home visits; home calls for palliative and residential care patients are light, and typically manageable over the phone.

The Esquimalt Medical Clinic is seeking GPs to add to its Walk-in shift roster. At your convenience we offer full shifts Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, or partial shifts from 9 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm, accommodations can be made for GPs wishing to work outside of these hours. Made popular by our knowledgeable upbeat staff and our naturally-lit modern interior, this Walk-in Clinic offers a uniquely varied patient demographic who present with a diversity of issues.
Walk-in doctors at this clinic are currently paid under the South Island Walk in Clinic Short-Term Stabilization Contract. Physicians are paid an hourly rate for both direct and indirect patient care (charting, labs, etc....) with no overhead cost.
