Dr. Memoona Akrma was born in Quetta, Pakistan and attended medical school and completed residency training at the University of Health Sciences. She moved to Canada from Saudi Arabia, where she was practicing Medicine as Senior Family Medicine Specialist. She settled in the community of Lillooet.

Her particular areas of interest include women's and child's health care.

The Akram have four lovely kids and a loving husband. In their spare time, they enjoy swimming, camping, biking and just being outdoors.
