Dr. Carrie Marshall – Physician Lead, Long Beach
Carrie Marshall is a CCFP and ABFM board certified doctor with a master’s degree in Public Health. Carrie operates a family practice at the Ucluelet Medical Centre and serves as a GP in Emergency Medicine at Tofino General Hospital. Born and raised in Vancouver, Carrie has degrees from the University of Victoria (B. Sc. - Kinesiology) and the University of Hawai’i (Master’s in Public Health & Doctorate in Medicine.)
Carrie has held positions at Planned Parenthood of Western Washington in Seattle, as well as the Reproductive Health Association of Cambodia. Throughout her education and work experience, there has been a focus on the intersection of public health policy and patient health. In addition to her role as Long Beach Chapter physician lead, Carrie is a member of the Clinical Teaching Faculty with the UBC Faculty of Medicine. Before moving to Vancouver Island in 2012, Carrie spent 10 years living in Hawai’i. She enjoys standup paddle boarding and surfing with her young family.
