Brenda Dusome - Board Member
Brenda Dusome Brenda Dusome has extensive experience in the nonprofit, private, and public sectors, having worked across various industries such as health, finance, social services, the environment, education, and community and economic development. Her expertise spans general management; strategic, business, and operational planning; policy development; project management; facilitation; leadership and collaboration in teams; marketing and market research; product and service development; communications; program evaluation; adult training; and public relations. Brenda holds an Honours Degree in Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and a Master’s Degree in Conflict Analysis and Management from Royal Roads University. Currently residing in Vancouver, she raised her family in Prince Rupert. Brenda is a passionate advocate for equitable healthcare, particularly for residents of remote and rural areas, as well as for Indigenous and LGBTQ+ communities. She volunteers on a board focused on advancing equity in women’s health issues. In her free time, Brenda enjoys yoga, running, hiking, skiing, and mountain climbing. |
