The need to move critically ill patients who cannot get the care they need locally is a rural reality. The Division is working with Critical Care Transport, Patient Transfer Network, and Emergency Physician Online Support to improve processes across rural communities and the health authorities that support them. Initial tools have been developed and are already in use in some areas.
