Luther Court Society Community Health Centre

January 1, 2022


Luther Court is seeking progressive family physicians for two FTE service contract positions in a team-based interdisciplinary care setting.  A minimum of 1680 hours and 220 days per year (pro-rated for part-time) including extended hours and rapid access. Each FTE position will support an intergenerational practice with 800 attached patients, serving Gordon Head-Shelbourne and Oak Bay, with priority focus on seniors care and people with mental health concerns. A newly renovated primary care space and well established organization leadership and infrastructure will support team and practice excellence. Licensed or eligible for licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC required.

Luther Court is a faith based organization that has served Victoria with distinction for over 40 years and has exemplary status with Accreditation Canada. he CHC will provide clinical care to 4000 attached patients, as well as population health programs, and health promotion outreach to the community.

Competitive compensation plans; some assistance with re-location expenses available.

  • Other | experience in elder care, basic surgical procedures, mental health care are assets

The High-Complexity Care Team at Eagle Creek is seeking applicants for a long-term 0.375-
0.5 FTE
Part-time Family Physician position with its Westshore PCN Team. Applications will be open from September 15 - November 1, 2021, interviews to follow.

Cardiometabolic Collaborative Clinic (PT/FT)

We are interested in hiring a general practitioner to work in a specialty cardiometabolic collaborative clinic. We are trialing a new model of collaborative care in which GPS and specialists work together to support the health of patients with cardiometabolic disease. Specialists will support and train GPs to assist in the care of this specialized patient population.

Uptown Medical Clinic (PT/FT)

August, 2021


At Uptown Medical Clinic in the Uptown shopping plaza: join two other Family Doctors and a busy Open Access Family Practice and Urgent Care( formerly Walk-in Clinic) that has 4 regular Doctors who do walk-in but also have small Family Practice and a Women’s Clinic. 

Part or Full time

To replace a doctor who is retiring August 2021, who currently works 3.5 days a week (hours are flexible). Take on as much or as little as you want of his practice. 

The practice is mixed , but leans towards elderly care with a lot of complex and chronic patients with option to take on nursing home patients too.

With two physicians retiring, there is space for 1-2 more physicians to join the office. Hours and start date are flexible. Practice type is flexible, all in-person or mainly virtual, or mix of both. We provide cross coverage for each other when needed. Option to bring your patients, or adopt one of the retiring doctors'.
