Foundry Victoria/Victoria Youth Clinic (PT)

Multi-disciplinary team, serving youth 12-24 years old. The ideal candidate must be youth-friendly, culturally and socially sensitive, and non-judgmental.

  • Assist with clinic and program activities by answering phones, greeting clients, directing clients to appropriate partner services, checking appointment lists, assembling, and obtaining relevant client information and ensuring sufficient clinical, stationary, and client literature supplies are on hand. 
  • Respond to calls/answers inquiries regarding routine program information, relaying phone messages to staff, and greeting clients in waiting area. Perform a variety of clerical functions such as arranging for couriers, calling taxis and/or handing out vouchers for clients, filing, photocopying and faxing.
  • Answer routine inquiries about services, advises callers of services in the community and refers inquiries as appropriate and following protocols for obtaining assistance in an emergency/crisis situation.
  • Maintain levels of general office and clinic supplies and ensures equipment maintenance by methods such as troubleshooting office equipment problems. Assist staff with maintaining orderliness of work areas.

Ross Bay Health Centre (FT, permanent)

January 4, 2022


The Ross Bay Health Centre is urgently hiring a full-time MOA to start in January, 2022. The successful candidate will be motivated and have strong computer and communication skills. They will work along side two experienced MOAs to provide support to our four General Practitioners and three Nurse Practitioners. Some of the duties include document filing, booking appointments, maintaining a multi-level telephone system, checking in patients and performing temperature checks upon arrival. This is a Monday-Friday position. The wage is $20/hr with extended benefits after a 90-day probationary period. We are a supportive team who works hard to provide our patients with a high quality of care.

MOA regular duties such as scheduling appointments, communications with patients, ordering office supplies, ensuring exam room is tidy. Familiarity with Oscar EMR. Office hours might be extended later. MOA can do a portion of the work remotely during Covid.

Requirements: Clinic operates 7 days per week, 9:00am to 7:00pm - candidate must be willing to work varied shifts: days, evenings and weekends, as required.
