Adding a new patient? Please remember to submit a record of attachment


Doctors of BC and the Ministry of Health would like to remind PCN family physicians to submit a record of attachment using the $0 administrative fee code when adding a new patient to your panel.

The Medical Services Plan / Health Insurance BC require this record to be submitted through Teleplan once per patient, when attachment is agreed to by the family physician and the patient upon completion of an attachment conversation.

Attachment codes in the Toolkit are maintained by Doctors of BC.
