The goal of the neurology project is to reduce wait-times for consults by improving referrals and communication between GPs and Neurologists.

In order to achieve this, the working group has undertaken a number of initiatives:

  • physician education sessions for migraine and concussion
  • a concussion clinic trial in Surrey, to improve access for Surrey residents
  • a new electronic referral form to simplify referrals and ensure timely care
